New niches in tourism
Tourist flows tend to be seasonally and spatially concentrated. This
concentrates its economic benefits, and introduces problems associated with mass
tourism. Attracting tourists to more locations and reducing the impact of
seasonality are ongoing concerns in the tourism industry.
